How to fall asleep easier and wake up more energized
Sleep is often overlooked and pushed aside as we focus on other things we deem important in our life. If you are unable to fall asleep, or feel it is very difficult to wake up, there is likely a problem with your body’s circadian rhythm. A very long time ago, during the stone age before alarm clocks were invented, people woke up and went to sleep based on the sky. What I mean by this is the blue light emitted by the sun in the morning awakens your body naturally by increasing heart rate, temperature, and hormone secretion to get you ready for the day. The same works for falling asleep; the red waves of light emitted during a sunset put your body to sleep and can help you feel more tired. The quickest fix for this is an alarm clock or light that emits waves of light that mimic the sun’s. The Hatch Alarm clock is an incredible tool, and I can’t recommend it enough!
